Austin Hays has reached an agreement with the San Diego Padres on a major-league deal, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Hays, a former Baltimore Orioles outfielder, was traded to Philadelphia during the 2024 season. The signing adds an experienced outfield option to San Diego's roster. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
