Hernández Clears Waivers, Outrighted to Triple-A by Dodgers
The 29-year-old reliever cleared waivers after being DFA'd and now faces a choice between Triple-A or free agency.
The Dodgers have outrighted right-hander Jonathan Hernández to Triple-A Oklahoma City after he cleared waivers following a DFA earlier this week. All 29 other clubs passed on claiming him. Hernández posted an 8.15 ERA over 17 2/3 innings in 12 low-leverage appearances with Los Angeles. He is out of options and can elect free agency rather than report to Oklahoma City.
