Chicago made a roster swap after Game 1, sending Sandlin down and bringing up Schweitzer to cover bullpen innings.

The White Sox demoted David Sandlin to Triple-A Charlotte following Game 1 of the series against Kansas City. Tyler Schweitzer was recalled to fill a bullpen role. The move is also designed to align Noah Schultz for his return start in Baltimore next week. Schweitzer is expected to eat innings out of the bullpen in the near term.
