Manager Terry Francona confirmed the Reds intend to activate Hunter Greene during their weekend series against the Orioles. Greene had arthroscopic surgery to remove bone chips from his elbow during Spring Training. He completed four rehab starts, building to 6.1 innings and 82 pitches, posting a 13:2 K/BB ratio over 14.1 frames without allowing a run. His fastball averaged 98.6 mph in his two Triple-A appearances.
