Arizona reinstated left-hander Blake Walston from the 60-day injured list as part of the September roster expansion to 28 players. Walston underwent Tommy John surgery in March 2025 and missed all of last season plus most of this one. He has been on a rehab assignment for nearly a month, making short one-to-two inning appearances. He is expected to slot into the bullpen alongside Brandyn Garcia rather than return to a starting role immediately.
