Brewers Set for Sept. Roster Expansion With Naylor, Romero as Top Candidates
Milwaukee's Triple-A Nashville club is set to lose key contributors as the Brewers expand their roster, with catcher Bo Naylor the frontrunner for a call-up.

With September 1 roster expansion arriving, the Brewers are expected to add at least two players from Triple-A Nashville. Lefty reliever JoJo Romero is considered a strong bet to be activated. Catcher Bo Naylor is viewed as the most likely position player addition, giving Milwaukee a third catcher with MLB experience to spell Contreras. Naylor has posted a .903 OPS in 60 at-bats since being acquired via trade.
