Rockies Cut Erasmo Ramirez After Dismal Triple-A Stint
The 36-year-old right-hander allowed 50 hits and 8 HR in 31 PCL innings before Colorado officially released him.

Colorado released veteran right-hander Erasmo Ramirez, per MLB.com transaction records. Ramirez had signed a minor league deal in early May after pitching in the Mexican League to start 2025. In 10 appearances and 7 starts at Triple-A Albuquerque, he posted an 11.90 ERA, surrendering 50 hits and 8 home runs across 31 innings. The Rockies, now last in MLB with a 5.51 team ERA, moved on from the experiment.
