Colorado designates veteran right-hander John Brebbia for assignment, ending his tenure with the club.
The Rockies have officially designated right-handed reliever John Brebbia for assignment. Brebbia, 36, posted a 4.12 ERA across 379 career games with multiple organizations. His DFA opens a 40-man roster spot for the team. Colorado had signed him as part of their bullpen depth this season.
