The Colorado Rockies have struggled badly in their series against the Miami Marlins, allowing 24 runs across the first two games. Kyle Freeland starts Game 3 carrying a 1-7 record and a 7.50 ERA through 14 starts. In his most recent outing against Boston at Coors Field, Freeland allowed six runs on 11 hits over six innings on 81 pitches. He has surrendered six or more runs in three of his five June starts.
