Daz Cameron Outrighted to Triple-A After Clearing Waivers
Toronto's DFA of Cameron is complete; he lands in Buffalo but holds the right to reject the assignment and pursue free agency.

The Blue Jays designated outfielder Daz Cameron for assignment earlier this week and he has now cleared waivers, landing at Triple-A Buffalo. Cameron has been outrighted previously, giving him the option to elect free agency instead. His roster spot was lost amid a wave of moves triggered by Joe Mantiply's activation off the 60-day IL and the additions of infielders Sean Keys and Josh Smith. Cameron hit just 5-for-24 with seven strikeouts in eight big-league games after being called up in mid-August.
