The Washington Nationals are recalling left-handed pitching prospect Jackson Kent from Triple-A Rochester this week, according to The Athletic. The 23-year-old was Washington's 2024 fourth-round pick and posted a 4.35 ERA with 67 strikeouts in 63.2 innings at Triple-A. His call-up fills a rotation spot vacated by the trade of All-Star Foster Griffin to Cleveland. Kent is ranked the Nationals' No. 8 overall prospect by MLB.com.
