The Astros have traded Lance McCullers Jr. and Colton Gordon to the Brewers along with cash, receiving minor league outfielder Jadyn Fielder. Milwaukee is absorbing $2.5MM of McCullers' remaining salary on his $17MM deal. McCullers has been sidelined since May 13 with a shoulder injury but recently began a minor league rehab stint. The move is widely viewed as salary-motivated for Houston.
