Yankees manager Aaron Boone confirmed Fernando Cruz has a partially torn UCL following the team's win over Houston. Cruz is seeking additional medical opinions before deciding on a surgical path. A full Tommy John reconstruction would cost him the rest of 2026 and all of 2027. Even the less invasive internal brace procedure would likely sideline him until at least September 2027.
