The Rockies officially placed left-hander Kyle Freeland on the 15-day injured list due to a pinched nerve in his neck. The move was announced in conjunction with roster additions from Triple-A Albuquerque. Freeland's next scheduled start will instead go to Mason Adams, who was recently acquired in the Brenton Doyle trade. There is no timetable given for Freeland's return.
