The Giants officially selected the contract of right-hander Braxton Roxby from Triple-A. He fills the active roster spot opened by Adrian Houser's placement on the 15-day IL. Roxby has served exclusively as a reliever in the minors and is not expected to contribute as a starter. Over 57 Triple-A innings this season he owns a 4.11 ERA with a declining strikeout rate of 22.6%.
