San Francisco selected RHP Yunior Marte from Double-A Richmond to make his major league debut Saturday in Game 2 of a doubleheader against Arizona. The 23-year-old ranks among the Giants' top-30 prospects at FanGraphs (No. 20), MLB Pipeline (No. 24), and Baseball America (No. 27). He posted a 3.92 ERA with a 26.4% strikeout rate and 8.1% walk rate in 64.1 innings at Richmond this season. Marte features a high-90s fastball paired with a splitter/slider combination.
