The Giants officially selected the contract of right-hander Trent Harris, marking his first MLB call-up. Harris, signed as an undrafted free agent in 2023, posted a 2.68 ERA across 198.1 minor league innings with a 31.8% strikeout rate. The Giants have recently been using him as a starter to help fill rotation gaps left by the deadline trades of Tyler Mahle and Robbie Ray. Harris has options remaining and could be cycled back to Triple-A Sacramento depending on roster needs.
