The Red Sox officially selected the contract of right-hander Jedixson Paez from Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday. Paez, 22, will start that evening's game in his first MLB appearance for Boston. He posted a 4.11 ERA with a 30.8% strikeout rate and 2.9% walk rate across 61.1 combined innings at Double-A and Triple-A in 2026. His fastball sits around 92.8 mph and his changeup is considered his best pitch.
