Brewers third baseman Joey Ortiz had an MRI after exiting Friday's game with a right knee bruise. Results came back clean, though he also has abdominal swelling and had been managing oblique and groin issues. Ortiz will sit out the regular season finale but is projected to be ready for the NLDS, which begins October 3rd. Milwaukee will monitor his abdominal swelling during the five-day gap before the playoffs.
