Josh Jung was placed on the injured list with a right calf strain before Friday's game against the Mariners. He left Tuesday's contest against the White Sox after scoring in the third inning and attempted running during the week but did not recover sufficiently. Jung said the discomfort from Tuesday never subsided. Texas is targeting a minimum IL stint, which would have him back around next weekend's series against Houston.
