The Giants officially placed RHP Keaton Winn on the 15-day injured list, backdated to August 19, due to right elbow neuritis. LHP Reiver Sanmartin was recalled to fill the roster spot. Winn has a history of serious arm trouble, including Tommy John surgery in 2021 and nerve transposition surgery in 2024. He also missed roughly a month earlier this season with an elbow strain, making this his second IL stint of 2026.
