Liam Hendriks has officially retired from Major League Baseball after 14 seasons. The right-handed reliever was a two-time AL Reliever of the Year and won the 2023 AL Comeback Player of the Year award after battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He was also a seven-time Roberto Clemente Award nominee. Hendriks is best known for his time with the Oakland Athletics, where he established himself as one of the premier closers in the game.
