Drew Millas will undergo surgery on his left index finger on Friday, the second procedure on that finger this season. The 28-year-old has been on the injured list since mid-July and was transferred to the 60-day IL in September, effectively ending his season. This marks his third finger surgery in two years after breaking a different finger on his glove hand in August 2025. Harry Ford has been handling backup catching duties behind Keibert Ruiz in Millas's absence.
