Noah Schultz Optioned to Triple-A After Rough MLB Debut Season
The 23-year-old White Sox southpaw was sent down to Charlotte earlier this month as he continues to refine his arsenal and develop at the pro level.

Noah Schultz, Chicago's second-ranked prospect entering 2025, was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on August 8 after posting a 6.06 ERA and 4.86 FIP across 65.1 innings in the majors. The 6-foot-10 left-hander has thrown just 300 professional innings total, with injuries contributing to his limited workload. The White Sox are working with Schultz on pitch shape adjustments, including sweeper and arm-slot experiments, as he tries to develop a more effective arsenal. He remains a high-ceiling developmental arm who is still learning the craft.
