Reds Add Orlando Arcia on Minor League Deal, Assign to Triple-A
The former Braves shortstop joins Cincinnati's organization after a brief stint in the Mexican League and 19 games with Minnesota earlier this year.

Cincinnati signed Orlando Arcia to a minor league contract and sent him to Triple-A Louisville. The 32-year-old most recently appeared in 19 games for the Twins in June, hitting .271 with one home run. He spent last season split between Atlanta and Colorado, posting a weak .202/.238/.291 line. Arcia gives the Reds an experienced infield depth option as the regular season winds down.
