Treinen Shoulder Injury Ends Season, Dodgers Lose Bullpen Arm for Postseason
The 38-year-old righty hurt his shoulder in the bullpen and will miss the entire postseason, closing out his two-year Dodgers deal on an injury note.

Blake Treinen suffered a shoulder injury while warming up in the bullpen on Sept. 26 and was officially placed on the 15-day IL ahead of Sept. 27's game against the Giants. Manager Dave Roberts confirmed Treinen would undergo imaging and be ruled out for the postseason entirely. Treinen had posted a 3.64 ERA in 36 appearances this season after battling forearm and elbow issues in 2025. The Dodgers are considered well-stocked with pitching depth and are not expected to be significantly impacted by his absence.
