The Twins officially designated Woo-Suk Go for assignment to clear a 40-man roster spot. Go made his MLB debut with Minnesota but struggled badly at Triple-A St. Paul, allowing 13 earned runs in 9.1 innings with an alarming 23.4% walk rate. He was acquired from Detroit in July after strong results with Toledo but could not replicate that form. With the trade deadline passed, he must clear waivers and could elect free agency given a prior career outright.
