Woodruff Returns from Shoulder Injury in World Series
Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff makes triumphant return to mound in Game 3 after right shoulder inflammation sidelined him since July 4.

Woodruff had not pitched since July 4 due to right shoulder inflammation and spent nearly two months on the injured list in May and June. He was initially scheduled for season-ending surgery in August but opted to attempt arm strength rehabilitation instead. Woodruff was added to the Brewers' World Series roster hours before Game 1 after throwing a live batting practice session at American Family Field.
