Yimi García underwent thoracic outlet syndrome surgery last week, officially ending his 2026 season. The 36-year-old righty made no MLB appearances this year, logging only nine minor league rehab outings before repeated setbacks. His 2025 season was also cut short by elbow scar tissue surgery in August. García is finishing a two-year, $15MM deal and is expected to be limited to minor league offers in free agency.
