Brewers Call Up Garrett Stallings, Fill Last 40-Man Spot
Milwaukee selected Stallings' contract and optioned Robert Gasser to the ACL, trimming to a five-man rotation.
The Brewers officially selected the contract of right-hander Garrett Stallings, filling the 40-man roster vacancy created when Luis Rengifo was designated for assignment earlier in June. Left-hander Robert Gasser was optioned to the Arizona Complex League as the corresponding move. The roster shuffle trims Milwaukee's rotation from six starters back to a more standard five-man unit. The move also gives the Brewers a larger bullpen as they manage pitching depth.
