Utility player Greg Jones has elected free agency after clearing outright waivers, per the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Brewers designated him for assignment when they acquired Braden Shewmake from Houston. Jones made 12 appearances for Milwaukee this season, going 2-for-23 with 10 strikeouts. A former first-round pick by Tampa Bay, Jones has now played for five organizations across a seven-year professional career.
