Arizona manager Torey Lovullo confirmed Pfaadt will be recalled to start the next game against San Francisco. Pfaadt began the season in the rotation but struggled early and was moved to the bullpen when Merrill Kelly returned from the IL. He was later optioned to Triple-A to rebuild as a starter. His return comes after both Michael Soroka and Ryne Nelson went down with injuries.
