Kelenic Returns to Texas on Minor League Pact
The Rangers brought back Jarred Kelenic on a MiLB deal days after outrighting him, adding a left-handed outfield option amid roster need.
Jarred Kelenic was outrighted off the Rangers roster and elected free agency, then quickly re-signed on a minor league contract. He appeared in seven MLB games with Texas after being selected to the roster in late June, going 1-for-8. Kelenic also logged 19 games with the White Sox earlier this season and is batting .213/.304/.295 overall. With Wyatt Langford on the IL, Texas has a need for outfield depth.
