Seager Hits IL Again With Back Pain, Third Stint This Season
Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager is back on the injured list after lasting fewer than a week following his most recent return.

Corey Seager is heading to the injured list for the third time this season after leaving yesterday's game with back pain in the first inning. His back has been a persistent issue since mid-May. He returned from a concussion IL stint on June 25 and appeared in only three games before this latest setback. The Rangers have not indicated a timeline for his return, and he is hitting just .182/.292/.374 in 219 plate appearances this season.
