Jazz Chisholm Jr. was hit in the face by Jasson Domínguez's glove while both players converged on a shallow popup in the fourth inning. Chisholm fell immediately and remained on the ground for several minutes before walking off under his own power. He was placed in concussion protocol and replaced at second base by Oswaldo Cabrera. The incident occurred during a 7-3 Yankees loss that extended their losing streak to five games.
