Keegan Akin is scheduled to meet with Dr. Keith Meister next week for an evaluation of his elbow. This is his second IL stint of the season; the first was for a groin strain that cost him the opening month. Akin has posted a 5.68 ERA with a 15% strikeout rate across 25.1 innings, well below his prior two-season marks. He is in his final arbitration year on a $2.975MM salary.
