Hiraldo Activated from 60-Day IL, Optioned to Triple-A
Baltimore reinstates the right-hander after a shoulder injury sidelined him since early April, but he heads to Norfolk rather than the MLB roster.
The Orioles officially activated Yaramil Hiraldo from the 60-day injured list after he missed most of the season with shoulder inflammation. He was simultaneously optioned to Triple-A Norfolk, where he will remain in the bullpen. Hiraldo had begun a rehab assignment in late June, making four appearances across High-A and Triple-A. The move fills out Baltimore's 40-man roster to its maximum.
