The Diamondbacks officially reinstated left-hander Blake Walston from the 60-day injured list as part of the September roster expansion to 28 players. Walston missed all of 2025 and most of 2026 recovering from Tommy John surgery performed in March 2025. He has been on a rehab assignment for nearly a month, making short one-to-two inning appearances. Arizona plans to use him in a bullpen role for now, adding a lefty option alongside Brandyn Garcia.
