The Giants officially placed Rafael Devers on the 60-day injured list due to a core muscle injury he played through for much of the 2026 season. He will consult with Dr. William Meyers on Monday, and surgery could follow as early as Tuesday. Devers ends his season with a .258/.340/.525 slash line, 37 home runs, and a 135 wRC+ in 633 plate appearances. His placement ends what had been a scorching second half — a .291/.398/.674 slash with 15 homers and a 187 wRC+ since August 1.
