The Giants made a corresponding roster move on the heels of Bryce Eldridge's return from the bereavement list. Infielder Buddy Kennedy was designated for assignment to open the spot. The move was confirmed by Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Kennedy now has 10 days to be traded, released, or pass through waivers.
