Guardians Make One Roster Swap for ALCS
Cleveland adds RHP Slade Cecconi and drops utility man Daniel Schneemann as they prepare for a longer series with fewer off-days.
The Cleveland Guardians officially announced their ALCS roster with one change from the ALDS group. Right-handed pitcher Slade Cecconi is added to handle the increased pitching demands of the longer series, while utility player Daniel Schneemann is removed. Tanner Bibee remains on the roster despite a rough late-season stretch and a poor ALDS Game 4 outing. Manager Stephen Vogt is expected to manage usage carefully across all 14 pitchers given the schedule's limited off-days.
