Liam Hendriks Retires After 14 MLB Seasons
The two-time AL Reliever of the Year and 2023 Comeback Player of the Year has ended his playing career.

Liam Hendriks has officially retired from Major League Baseball after a 14-year career. The Australian reliever won the AL Reliever of the Year award twice and was named the 2023 AL Comeback Player of the Year following his battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He was also a seven-time Roberto Clemente Award nominee. Hendriks is most associated with the Oakland Athletics organization.
