Liam Hendriks has announced his retirement from Major League Baseball after 14 seasons. The right-handed reliever won the AL Reliever of the Year award twice and earned the 2023 AL Comeback Player of the Year honor after battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He was also a seven-time Roberto Clemente Award nominee. Hendriks spent a significant portion of his career with the Oakland Athletics before stints with the White Sox and Red Sox.
