The Mariners officially outrighted infielder/outfielder Connor Joe to Triple-A Tacoma after he cleared waivers. Joe was originally DFA'd Tuesday when Seattle expanded its active roster. With at least three years of MLB service time, Joe has the right to elect free agency, though doing so would forfeit remaining salary. His minor league deal pays $270K at the Triple-A level, giving him financial incentive to report to Tacoma through season's end.
