MLB delivered new CBA proposals to the Players Association covering three areas. First, teams would set 26-man rosters weekly on Mondays rather than daily, with exemptions for injuries and other existing processes. Second, the injured list would shift from day-based minimums to one-week, two-week, and 12-week tiers. Third, the Rule 5 draft would be expanded with a shorter eligibility timeline and removal of the requirement to keep drafted players on the active big league roster all season.
