Rodón managing elbow issues, limited to 4 innings per start
The Yankees lefty has been sidelined twice in 2026 by elbow problems and is on a strict pitch-count ramp after his latest IL return.

Carlos Rodón has been restricted to 11 starts in 2026 after two separate elbow-related IL stints totaling roughly three months. The first absence stemmed from offseason surgery to remove a bone spur; the second was caused by inflammation in the same elbow from July into mid-August. Since returning, he has been capped at four innings per outing as the Yankees manage his workload. He has posted a 3.15 ERA and 3.61 FIP across 54.1 innings this season.
