Walcott Missed Half of 2024 Season After Elbow Surgery
The Rangers' top shortstop prospect had internal brace surgery in February and was limited to DH duty upon his return due to the elbow injury.

Sebastian Walcott, the Rangers' No. 1 prospect and an elite international signing from 2023, underwent internal brace surgery on his elbow in February 2024. He did not return to game action until mid-July, costing him roughly half the season. Texas kept him almost exclusively at DH upon his return as a precaution.
