Westburg Return Timeline Unclear After Missing Full Season
The Orioles' third baseman missed all of 2026 and questions remain about how quickly he can return to form in 2027.
Jordan Westburg missed the entire 2026 MLB season due to injury and is expected to return for 2027, though his readiness is uncertain. The Orioles may ease him back by deploying him at second base, where he has 120 career appearances. His return complicates an already crowded infield situation in Baltimore. It remains unclear whether the team will place him on the IL at the start of the season to manage his recovery.
