Woo-Suk Go Elects Free Agency After Twins DFA
The reliever cleared waivers unclaimed and is now a free agent following a rocky stint split between the Detroit and Minnesota systems.

The Twins designated Go for assignment Friday to open a roster spot for top prospect Walker Jenkins, and Go subsequently went unclaimed on waivers. Minnesota had acquired the Korean-born reliever from Detroit in a minor trade in early July. Go struggled with command during his MLB appearances, allowing four runs in four innings, and was also suspended eight games for foreign substance use. He posted a combined 3.91 ERA across 50.2 minor-league innings between the two organizations this season.
