The Yankees selected the contract of right-hander Justin Topa from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre prior to Tuesday's game against the Astros. Topa, 35, was signed to a minor league deal on Aug. 14 after being DFA'd and released by Minnesota in May. He posted a 1.80 ERA in four Triple-A appearances before the promotion. Topa is available out of the bullpen starting Tuesday night.
